you’ll be our: Channel Strategy Manager (Sales) you’ll be based at: IBC Knowledge Park, Bengaluru you’ll be Aligned with:Head, Sales Strategy you’ll be a member of:Sales Strategy What you’ll do at Ather: Build and manage the Sales Channels end-to-end, including the primary channel of Ather’s retail partners and secondary channels such as e-commerce sites, affiliate programs, etc Develop sustainable processes, SOPs and Financial Models from scratch for all Sales Channels Coordinate within teams to execute against high-value strategic initiatives (e.g. forecasting, process improvement and automation, sales incentive design/compensation strategy, dashboard development for KPI monitoring, CX monitoring) Establish strong working relationships with key stakeholders in the sales teams (sales operations, customer marketing, Partner Development) and cross-functional teams (such as data, finance, HR, product, marketing, content etc.) Model and forecast sales trends to help the sales leadership develop targets and engage in strategic decision-making Modelling and monitoring the key financial and profitability metrics of various sales channels Maintain and continually evaluate the effectiveness of systems and processes for the sales team and suggest data-driven improvements when applicable Lead annual and quarterly sales strategy and planning for the Sales team by providing data-driven recommendations (e.g. customer segmentation, headcount, financial and territory planning, quota setting) Set up Channel partner support, engagement and performance evaluation methodology Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and successfully synthesize those into focused partnerships strategy and growth strategies. Here’s what we are looking for: Preference for Sales Strategy, Sales Execution, Management Consulting roles Superb analytical skills, technical aptitude and attention to detail Process-oriented thinking, holistic approach and clarity of thought Ability to work with little or no supervision, independently drive initiatives and drive points within multi-stakeholder environment and ambiguity Knowledge working with data and reports from DMS, SAP, BI, etc You bring to Ather: 4-6 years of experience working with Channel partners in a high-growth mobile/ e-commerce/ Automobile business Engineering degree OR MBA from a Tier I institution
