University Relations and Employer Branding Internal Communications Specialist


You’ll be our: Internal Communications Specialist


You’ll be based at: IBC Knowledge Park, Bengaluru

You’ll be a member of:  People Operations & Strategy



What you’ll do at Ather:

  • Be the voice of Ather on all our internal communication channels (emails, intranet, all hands, etc.)

  • On a day-to-day basis, have your ears on what our employees are saying about us; track things that matter to us across an employee’s life cycle 

  • You will work with the People Operations & Strategy (POPS) team to plan out the content calendar, conceptualize large and small scale people initiatives, update and manage our people and culture social media channels

  • Work with the marketing team, designers, writers, filmmakers, and external agencies to bring your ideas to life 

  • Translate complex business concepts into clear, concise, and appealing content

  • Understand the what, when, why, and how, including the benefits of communications and changes within the organization

  • Meet deadlines, prioritize workloads, and maintain strong attention to detail in order to meet organizational objectives and quality measures

  • Manage effective measurement tools to drive improvements in agent productivity



Here’s what we are looking for:

  • Collaborative skills

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills

  • Prior content creation and communication experience  

  • Experience communicating to a diverse audience

  • An enthusiasm for networking across all levels of the organization, across geographies, and partner content and communications teams

  • Excellent writing and editing skills

  • Ability to build a strategic communications plan using both stakeholder analysis and change impact analysis as a foundation, and implement against it in a fast-changing environment



You bring to Ather:

  • A B.A. degree  in PR, Journalism, Communications or equivalent

  • 1 - 3 years of experience in a consumer-facing communication role will be great
